THE ART OF MAKING
Unlike most design studios, we like to stay hands-on with the production of our designs. Since the beginning, we’ve explored a wide range of methods, from hand-sculpting in clay or concrete to casting in various materials such as polystone or bronze. We’ve always pushed ourselves to think outside the box, which is often necessary, since the pieces we imagine are often large in scale and rich in detail, which makes them difficult to produce with conventional techniques.
This search for new possibilities led us to printing in quartz sand and to developing our own in-house surface treatments that turn each piece into a true artwork.

PIONEERING IN QUARTZ SAND
Quartz sand 3D printing, also known as binder jetting, builds objects layer by layer from fine grains of sand that are bonded together into solid forms.
The technology is mostly used in fields like automotive or aerospace, but we see its enormous potential in the world of art and design. It allows us to create large sculptural works with complex shapes that would be impossible through other production methods.
Unlike other 3D printing materials, quartz sand has a natural, stone-like quality and can be made as strong as concrete.
While the technology is very exciting, it's even more exciting what it makes possible: going beyond the restrictions of traditional manufacturing and redefining what functional sculptures can be.
We’ve been working intensively with this medium, developing ways to refine its raw qualities and to create truly stunning masterpieces.

BESPOKE DESIGN
We also create bespoke works for designers, brands and private clients. Every commission begins with a conversation.
