With home fragrance as our specialty, we seamlessly merge sculptural objects and memorable fragrances to bring the intangible to life. In addition to our signature sculptural home fragrances, Joy Spread unleashes its creative expertise in crafting exclusive limited editions, unique sculptural furniture, and spectacular art experiences.

HOW IT BEGAN...
The story of Joy Spread is a journey of transformation and artistic exploration. It all began in 2020 when Florian and Suki set out on a path to create curated luxurious gift boxes. At that time, they realized the potential of candles and reed diffusers as potential components for their curated gift boxes. However, the existing home fragrance products they encountered left them uninspired. They found most candles to be lacking in design and creativity.
Determined to combine extraordinary design with exceptional fragrance, Florian embarked on a self-taught journey to sculpt candle vessels for their own home fragrance collection. Day after day, from morning till night, he dedicated himself to learning and experimenting, driven by an unwavering commitment to his craft.
More than six months of tireless effort led Florian to the creation of Joy Spread's first collection of sculptural home fragrances. It was during this process that a revelation occurred. Florian realized that what he was crafting went far beyond mere products. Subconsciously, he was creating art—objects that encapsulated intangible aspects such as his emotions and the deeper meanings he wanted them to convey.
An exceptional example of this artistic realization was the very first candle Florian sculpted, centered around the theme of imperfection. Inspired by his profound affinity for rocks and mountains, he sought to capture the inherent beauty found in the imperfect. Merging the precision of geometric shapes with the organic textures reminiscent of nature's rocky formations, he brought forth a candle that celebrated the allure of imperfection. Florian encourages the viewer to appreciate the beauty that arises from the interplay between order and chaos, precision and spontaneity, and symmetry and asymmetry. It invites us to embrace the natural imperfections that exist in ourselves, others, and the world around us, recognizing that they contribute to a richer and more authentic human experience.
